Hacking the Command Core

The main objective of the war on the Canyon and the Proving Grounds is to capture the base, which is impossible without an engineer.

Role of the engineer:

On the Canyon:

●Place the protective field suppressors near the faction base (see the Canyon map for PVP, in the corresponding section of the reference book).

●Protect equipment for 3 minutes to collapse the protective dome.

●After the dome collapses, enter the base and begin interacting with the “microwave” to change the configuration of the command core.

●After successful reprogramming, the base is considered captured.

At the Test Site:

●Approach each of the three fortifications and install protective field suppressors.

●After 1 minute, reprogram the “microwave” on each fortification.

●Hold all three points until the end of the war.

●The main base is considered captured only if all three points are successfully defended until the end of the war.

Reprogramming the command core: the process consists of selecting a cipher. It is necessary to determine which of the 8 levers should be raised. Successful selection of the combination activates 4 indicators. All possible combinations of levers are given in the table below.

Important!To successfully hack the command core, exactly 3 of the 8 switches must be raised.

When going through the switches one by one, you will notice that some switches must be at the bottom, others at the top, and some do not affect the result. When a switch is set to the correct position, one of the four indicators lights up: three of them correspond to the switches raised up, and one to the switch in the bottom position. This means that only 4 of the 8 switches affect the indicators, the rest are neutral.

If the core was activated with 4 switches raised, this is normal: one of them was most likely neutral and did not affect the result. Consider this when selecting the code.
