Gear Rarity Tiers
PIONER features a vast selection of clothing and armor, varying in rarity, base stats, and unique modifiers.
Gear is divided into the following rarity tiers:
- Common (White)
- Uncommon (Green)
- Rare (Blue)
- Epic (Purple)
The higher the armor’s rarity:
- the better its base stats;
- the more bonus effects it can roll;
- the higher the repair costs.
Pro Tip: It’s recommended to use Rare and Epic tier armor since they offer the best overall stats. Any duplicate drops of these are best sold to vendors. Common and Uncommon armor should be scrapped at the workbench.
Durability & Degradation
When completely broken, armor does not disappear or unequip from your character, but its protective properties are significantly reduced, making it less effective.
Armor Upgrades
Armor can be upgraded from Tier 1 to Tier 3, which directly increases its base defensive stats.
Each upgrade tier requires higher-tier materials. Keep in mind that upgraded armor will cost more resources to repair.
