Character skills

Character skills are divided into two types:

  • General — available to all classes;
  • Class — unique skills that define the specifics of each class. They are divided into PvP and PvE skills, implemented as sequential progression trees that sometimes intersect to unlock universal class skills — usually proficiency in specific weapons.

You cannot learn skills from both PvP and PvE branches at the same time.

Class skills become available for learning only at level 8.

Unlocking the main class branch (PvP or PvE) requires 35 skill points (or 42 points to fully unlock the branch).

For the Engineer:

  • 26 points – main class branch (PvP or PvE) and 31 points for the main class branch with addons;
  • 16 points – main additional branch and 28 points for the full additional branch;
  • 59 points to fully unlock both branches.
