Character Information

All character information is found in the PDA in the (surprise!): “Character Info” section.

It includes:

  • Name – the character’s nickname visible to other players. Can be changed using a Name Change Certificate. Inappropriate names may be banned by the game administration;
  • Gender – male or female. Can be changed using a Gender Change Certificate. Hitpoints are the same for both genders;
  • Creation Date – the exact date and time the character (not the account) was created;
  • Class – Mercenary, Engineer, Prospector, or Hunter. Can be changed using a Class Change Certificate;
  • Level – the character’s current progression level;
  • Balance – the current amount of tokens on the account;
  • Clan – the name of the clan, if the character is in one;
  • Faction – Black Sunset or Confederation, if the character has joined one;
  • PvP enabled or disabled – on servers without the “No-PK” tag, upon reaching level 15, the status automatically becomes active with no option to disable it. On “No-PK” servers, it automatically becomes active only in PvP locations such as Canyon, Testing Ground, and Foothills (in other locations, you can manually enable or disable it at any time. However, if you switch modes frequently, you will have to wait for a one-hour cooldown);
  • Founder (image of a head in a gas mask with a golden wreath): a mark for accounts registered before November 2019 (meaning the player bought the game when it was paid), as a thank you for supporting the project;
  • Clan Info (shield with wings symbol): detailed information about the clan the player is in.

The PDA’s “Character Info” section displays the character’s core stats.

Each stat affects specific characteristics. The cards below provide a complete list of stats and their effects. This will help you better understand which skills are worth leveling up and why.

General

Character Level

Maximum Health

Adds 20-30 HP per level.

Maximum Carry Weight

Adds 2.8 kg to carry weight per level.

Health

Hitpoints

How much damage your character can take before respawning.

Affects stamina recovery

When health is low, stamina stops regenerating automatically.

Stamina

Allows running, jumping, and holding breath while aiming

Consumed when running, jumping, holding breath, and escaping from a Flytrap. Recovery speed is slow while walking, and maximum while crouching.

Hunger

Affects maximum carry weight

As hunger sets in, starting from 20%, you receive a progressive penalty to max weight, up to -20% when completely starving. Consumed by roughly 2% every 25 in-game minutes.

Stamina recovery speed

If hunger drops below 40%, recovery speed decreases.

Health regeneration

If the value is 75% or higher, the character will slowly regenerate health.

Thirst

Affects stamina recovery speed

At maximum thirst, stamina recovery is slowed by about half.

Stamina loss speed

If the value drops below 40%, the character’s stamina loss rate increases.

Health regeneration

If the value is 75% or higher, the character will slowly regenerate health.

Current Inventory Weight

Affects stamina consumption and movement speed

Consists of the weight of equipped gear and items in the Inventory.

Heavy Load

Stamina consumption is greatly increased.

Overloaded

You lose the ability to run and slow down, depending on the difference between current and max weight, up to being completely unable to move.

Character Stats

Strength

Maximum Health

Adds roughly +5% to HP.

Maximum Carry Weight

Increases carry weight by ~7% from the base.

Melee weapon damage

Increases damage from melee weapon strikes.

Weapon recoil

Recoil reduction per point of strength is small. But the difference in recoil between strength 6 and strength 10 is significant.

Agility

Running speed

Increases running speed and jump distance.

Weapon handling speed

Increases weapon swap and reload speed (by 3%).

Interaction speed

Increases looting speed of mobs\bags\boxes…

Endurance

Maximum Health

Increases the character’s health pool by roughly +5%.

Health regeneration speed

Increases health regeneration speed in safe zones or at a Campfire.

Maximum Stamina

Adds roughly 600 units per point (the Mustang Stimulant gives no points).

Environmental protection

Reduces damage from anomalies, poisoning, etc.

Accuracy

Weapon spread (grouping)

When shooting at long distances, increases the chance to hit the target. It doesn’t increase the weapon’s accuracy directly, but determines how accurately the character’s shooting matches the weapon’s stated characteristics. For example, if a weapon has a stated grouping of 2 MOA, you can only achieve such a result in practice with Accuracy = 10 (without accounting for additional skills and modifiers). If the character’s Accuracy is only 2, the actual grouping when shooting will be about 3.6 MOA from a weapon with a 2 MOA grouping. With Accuracy 5 – about 3 MOA. Only at 10 points of Accuracy will the weapon start working at maximum efficiency and demonstrate its stated characteristics. Thus, Accuracy is a stat that determines how skillfully the character realizes the potential of the weapon being used.

Scope sway

Affects scope sway in sniper mode on Kite-1, Kite-2, PSO, PO-1,2,3 scopes. Does not affect red dot sight sway.

Intelligence

Weapon leveling speed

The efficiency of weapon leveling and repair experience increases by roughly 20%-30% when using each additional skill.

Luck

Loot amount

Get more resources in the drop from mobs, NPCs, other players, looting boxes, mining ore…

Amount of items dropped upon death

You lose fewer items upon death.

Critical hit chance

Increases crit chance. The chance to deal critical damage to the head is much higher than to other body parts.

Chance to receive critical damage

Reduces the chance of receiving a crit.

*Some character stats (such as Strength, Endurance, Intelligence, and Luck) can be temporarily boosted using the corresponding Stimulants.

Experience Branches

Experience

Required to level up

Gained by completing quests, killing enemies, and crafting items. At night, all players receive 10% more experience. In underground locations, this bonus is active permanently.

Medical Experience

Affects medkit healing power

Leveled up by using medical items.

Crafting Experience

Required to be able to create more complex items

Leveled up by crafting items (using the Forge, Press Machine, Chemical Station, and crafting in the Inventory). Leveling up allows: – 20% chance to craft ammo (and all components for it); – 100% chance to craft weapons at the machine located at the Proving Ground.

Repair Experience

Affects repair kit consumption and the chance of successfully modifying weapons

Leveled up by repairing gear yourself with repair kits (weapons and armor). This skill significantly reduces the cost of weapon maintenance, so from the very beginning of the game, it is recommended to repair weapons and armor not at the gunsmith, but by buying clothing and weapon repair kits. By leveling the repair skill, you reduce repair kit consumption.

Mining Experience

Affects the chance of ore dropping, but does not affect the maximum amount

Leveled up by mining ore (more ore mined = higher % gain). -50% is required to mine titanium. -100% allows digging up crystals in the Exclusion zone.

Survival Experience

The more this skill is leveled, the less often you will need to eat and drink. Partially reduces damage received from players and mobs

Leveled up by crafting items (crafting lockpicks, Campfire, and cooking food on it).

Weapon Skills

Weapon Branch

Affects the damage value of weapons in this branch

When the branch is fully leveled, all weapon types in it deal 10-15% more damage. Off-class weapons have a 50% leveling penalty. Consequently, the bonus from leveling will be not 10-15%, but 5%-7.5%.

Specific Weapon

Affects the spread of damage and armor-piercing values when calculating dealt damage

With 100% leveling of the entire weapon branch, you will almost always deal maximum damage with maximum armor-piercing for that weapon. Leveling grenades affects not only the accuracy of the grenade throw but also the damage dealt.

Increases reload speed

At 55%, the weapon reload animation changes, which affects reload speed (does not work for all guns).
